thats the number of U.S lives been cut short by George Bush's foreign policy, it makes you wonder just how many of those casualties can Dubbya Jnr name?

How many Wives, Husbands, Mothers and Fathers has George looked in the eye and told them they will never see their loved ones again, unless theres a journalist around id say not many.

But there could be light at the end of the tunnel for the families of the soldiers still serving or about to be posted with a huge shift in public opinion and even in the hallowed halls of the US congress against George W Bush's plan for Iraq.

with Democrates holding the balance of power and even Georges own republicans are distancing themselves from the mess that is the "war on terror", it appears at least in principle that the US is loosing patience with the lack of progess in Iraq. and Iraq could find itself very much alone to deal with their internal matters.
